Our Story - Customised Nutrition Formulations

South Africans are simply not eating correctly. Current research shows this trend increasing. South Africa has just been rated the most unhealthiest country in the world by the the Indigo Wellness Index, compiled and led by Richard Davies at economics consultancy Bloomsbury Economics. This research is one of the most comprehensive to date, covering 191 countries across the globe.

Diabetes is now the leading cause of death amongst South African women and the 2nd largest cause of death among South African men. We are one of the largest, at risk, populations in the world for obesity. Further the rise of chronic illnesses such as cancers and and auto-immune conditions has reached alarming levels. Stress is a major factor in many lifestyle related conditions.

Generally South Africans have a poor understanding of their individual nutritional requirements and the links between between incorrect nutrition and chronic conditions, including weight gain.

The mission at Access A Meal is to give you the tools to understand how to manage requirements in terms of your individual nutritional needs. At Access A Meal we specialise in customised restorative nutrition - how to use food to help heal the body. There is no-one offering a service like this in South Africa.
