Body Mapping: a process I have run gaia Art Circles - Process Art with Kate Ballenden for over 20 years in schools, corporates, private groups and many in my own studio space. A profound creative process in its simplicity and capacity to activate internal inquiry and dialogue, through image and mark making, within a trace of your body, working with a wide selection of art materials, found objects and recycled waist.

I am Earth
‘Creative by Nature' is an annual program with 26 teenagers, whom live in Hillbrow, Johannesburg CBD; they form part of the Windy Brow Arts Centre, Youth arts program 2025. 'Creative by Nature program' weaves together Movement, Meditation, Art making and Nature excursions. The core theme being 'Our interconnection with Nature'. The Program aims to invoke inquiry around home knowledge systems: arts and cultural, with a special focus on food growing knowledge and environmental awareness, for health and wellbeing: ours and Mother Earth's.

Below is a combination of images from our visit to a local small farmer and indigenous seed keeper, Mam Siphiwe Sithole at African Marmalade farm in Centurion, and a more recent Expressive arts session at the The Windybrow Arts Centre , combining Clay work with Movement and Meditation practice.
