Pain Coach Courses and mentorship to clinicians wanting to learn more about persistent pain and management of it

Dershnee is an Occupational Therapist with 26 years of clinical experience and a special interest in chronic pain. She has a master’s degree in the field of HIV and chronic pain. Additionally, she has a Certificate in Pain Management through the Train Pain Academy and a Postgraduate Diploma in Interdisciplinary Pain Management. She has worked in both the public, academic and private sectors. She has experience in clinical and vocational rehabilitation specific to the field of chronic pain. She has served as the secretary and a council member of PainSA (2012-2021) and as the chairperson of the Occupational Therapy Pain Management Group (2019-2022). She owns Pain Coach, a company that specialises in the mentorship and training of clinicians in the field of chronic pain management.

Last week was an amazing week filled with achievements

💚presented at the GP expo
💚helped many clients with persistent pain
💚presented a pain science course to clinicians

Lots done ✔️but… I didn’t sleep well, move enough or eat well 🙄… Sothos week it’s time for a reset

What we teach our clients or patients are the very same lessons or strategies we need to practice for our own well-being
