You don't always need a reason that others will understand.

Sometimes choosing not to overextend yourself is simply about protecting your peace and energy.
It's okay to respond gently, keep it simple and still honour your boundaries.
Your needs matter too🤍🤍

World Bipolar Awareness Day today we shine a light on the stigma that still exists in the 21st century. Lack of care or understanding - families turning on families.
Men's mental health highest at risk as they least likely to get help. Middle-aged men highest risk for su***de.
Get the right diagnosis.
Bipolar is treatable and a prescribed minimum benefit (pmb)

Let’s replace stigma with understanding and isolation with support🤍

Unhappiness doesn’t always look obvious.
Sometimes it shows up in the small phrases we repeat every day.
If any of these feel familiar, it might be your mind asking for support.🤍

Science shows that kids learn up to 70 percent of their conflict behaviors by watching adults, especially fathers. Sons witness how dads handle disagreements, and daughters absorb how fathers treat women. Every sigh, every calm voice, every harsh word quietly shapes their emotional wiring.

A child’s nervous system mirrors what it sees most often. If a dad chooses patience after conflict or takes responsibility, children learn that respect means self control and care, not just power. When fathers withdraw or criticize, kids feel uncertain and may act out with the parent who feels safest, their mother. This is not a sign of her failure but a signal of what children have seen.

Small changes in how adults manage emotions make a big difference. Try repairing after arguments, showing calm, and practicing making things right. These moments teach children that strong relationships are built on kindness. Start with one action this week and see what new patterns begin to grow in your family."

Reach out for parenting tools and nervous system regularion / distress tolerance/ anger management before the damage cuts deep.
