Just want to take the opportunity to express GRATITUDE for a long day of work.

Being able to show up and help others, I can’t begin to express how truly grateful I am to have the ability to take your pain away.
Nothing brings me more joy.

The last couple of days I had to take a time out and not being able to do what I do, because I needed to take care of myself a little bit, takes quite a big toll on me. But taking a pause until I feel better is something that I will always stand by, because in order to show up for you in the treatments and help you, I need to be feeling ok.

I am so thankful to have had an extremely long day, an absolute privilege to be tired from work today. 🤍

Life update ? Lower back stiffness/ discomfort? 🥺

As a sports physical therapist who suffers with chronic lower back pain from multiple surgeries but who takes the time to prevent any future upset and cause more pain, I need to look after my back even more with the new training program I am on.

These are some of my standard exercises to help decompress my lumbar spine and lumbar distraction (contract and relax)

1. Standing Banded Lumbar Decompression: the kettle bell is just an object used so you can step forward and reach for it.

Play around with the movement of your hips, while not loosing tension on the band.

2. Banded Lumbar Distraction: the band is causing traction on your hips and spine.

Notice I move my legs from side to side. Slow and steady is the best.
While not moving the legs, you contract and relax the lower back to allow the band to distract.

Give it a shot and see how much better your back feels.

Too often, we treat the symptoms of pain and injury without addressing the root causes. Ignoring the bigger picture can lead to recurring issues and prolonged discomfort. 🌀

Pain is just a signal from your body, and it’s crucial to investigate what’s really going on beneath the surface. 🧠💪

Let’s shift our focus from just treating the symptoms to understanding the entire chain of problems. A different approach not only alleviates pain but promotes long-term healing and strength. 💥🏋️‍♂️

Remember, true recovery comes from treating the source, not just the symptom! ✨

The most important phrase I keep repeating to my clients; PREVENTION is better than TREATMENT. 🤍

Treatment timings and what can be achieved within the time frame given. ⏰

This has been a question that has come up a lot lately, so I thought I’d break it down a little to explain what can be done thin the allocated timings.

In summary:
The more time I have, the more I can achieve and focus on the entire chain being affected.
The less time I have, the less time I have to work on the entire chain affected and only focus on the localized pain areas for some relief.

The meaning of life is to find your gift.
The purpose of life is to give it away.

Honoured to be trusted and supported in my abilities.
My understanding of healing the human body has only amplified by this experience.
I have always been fuelled by a strong passion within my soul, and everyday I take a step forward to better understanding how to leave my clients better than they came in, which is all I’ve never needed. Within my pursuit driven by my absolute love and passion to help heal, the pathway of opportunities to share what I’ve learnt and help me grow even more has been an absolute privilege to walk.

It’s that time, as we are in the final week before the competition.

I will be there providing treatments for your throughout your 9 lifts during your competition days.

The purpose of inter-competition sports therapy is to enhance the performance and well-being of athletes during competitive events.

This type of therapy focuses on several key aspects:

1. **Injury Prevention**: By addressing muscle imbalances and providing conditioning, sports therapy helps reduce the risk of injuries.
