What a special morning this was last week. Firstly, thank you to Jennie Bowen for the lovely donation of mosaic tiles and art supplies. What a blessing. ❤️
Regina Uys and Julia Tudsbury bring something very special to Dolphin Coast on a Tuesday morning.
The mosaic class was particularly engaging and attracted residents who are usually more reserved about creative arts.
We are so fortunate to be able to offer our residents the opportunity to engage in this experience. If you think your loved one would enjoy a morning like this, please reach out to get in touch with our GM Lindy Heine.

Meet KitKat (yes,just like the chocolate🍫).
She is everybody's cat.
Kitkat arrived at Dolphin with no name, no luggage or a backstory. She’s small, very cute and extremely chatty.
Low-maintenance, but very much part of the scene, and she absolutely loves a cuddle. KitKat is an early riser and always joins for the 7am morning handover at Dolphin.
KitKat has a very soft spot for Norman, who keeps his window open, so she can come and go as she pleases. Rosie keeps KitKat on her toes but she's very understanding. KitKat didn't arrive with anyone, but we like to believe that she stayed for a reason.🐱🥰 Cat tax below.

The doggies of Dolphin🐶

Flatly (F-L-A-T-L-E-Y) is a long-haired dachshund girlie who belongs to Nellie Truter. She's a sure-footed little companion who adores her mum.
She loves sleeping curled up under the blankets, sometimes in the curve of Nellie's neck. Flatly is a devoted sausage and only leaves Nellie's side if Darryl arrives with treats. If you can't find Flatly, just look for Darryl.
Flatly enjoys a compliment and a snooze. Cat-friendly and cute - what's not to love!

Meet the doggies of Dolphin.
Rosie, also known as "Rozles" is Renata’s free-spirited fur-child. She’s confident, affectionate and fluent in German. If you’re lost or new at Dolphin, just ask Rosie, as she knows her way around.
Management is aware that Rosie helps herself to KitKat’s biscuits and milk in the morning. She makes up for it by helping Mike in the garden.
Loves a Beeno and a face rub. Rosie is her mother's keeper. Rosie and Renate are the best of friends.

Celebrating our remarkable Adelaide at her retirement tea earlier this week. Thank you Adelaide, for your dedication and love.

A fabulous morning at Dolphin on Friday, as residents and caregivers gathered outside for a game of Jukskei, facilitated by our wonderful volunteers and Nan Cooper Lutz. Congratulations to King Geoff and Queen Unathi!

We had a wonderful change of pace at Dolphin, with Pam Howard joining us. She led a great session focused on metal work and textiles, showing the residents how to upcycle everyday tin cans into fabric-covered containers. It was a morning of quiet focus and some really lovely results. A huge thank you to Pam.🥰

🐦🐦🐦Our regular Tuesday art class celebrated Martin Wilson's love of birds. Aren't these amazing? Thank you Regina, for a wonderful session. It was beautiful to observe.🥰Ps: we forgot about the 🍫brownies. Delicious!
