28 Day Gut Reset

28 Day Gut Reset Fix bloating, IBS symptoms, and stubborn weight by repairing the gut — not cutting more calories.

I used to get a flu every single winter - until I healed my gut.

Now I rarely get sick, even when I am exposed to my clients daily, of whom most get sick at some point.

This is not coincidence, or fresh air from the ocean.

70-80% of your immune cells reside in the gut.

The fact that people who got worse symptoms from Covid, or long Covid, had bad gut health, is therefore not surprising.

So forget getting shots - take care of your gut and you don't have to worry about the latest virus or an annual flu.

(Remember that poor sleep, inadequate recovery from workouts and unmanaged stress all will undo efforts to improve your immunity - so make sleep, recovery and stress management a priority - all which affect your gut health significantly, by the way!)

Ya my bru...

How dumb are we making ourselves to rely on apps, to track our food intake?

You can relearn to feel your appetite or satiety signals, just like I did.

It makes life a whoooole lot easier.

If you want a programme that can help with that, see the 28 day gut reset - tap the l!nk in my profile..

I haven't seen many plans, maybe none, where the priority is to first heal the gut lining.

That is a non negotiable first step to a healthy gut.

You can't just start by increasing fibre or probiotic intake - for many people this will make things worse, not better.

It's a bit of a process, as is any significant change you make in your life.

Can't happen overnight.

If you want to do a plan that gived lasting change by following the right steps, see my 28 Day Gut Reset.

Is removing foods that trigger bloating or other digestive issues necessarily the solution?

People like to take pills or potions because the marketing messages make them believe it will sort out their issues.

Or, they completely eliminate food groups and think that's what they needed.

These are usually not sustainable and neither do they sort out the root causes.

The only way is to heal your gut.

And from there you will know if that food is a real issue, or if they just had a damaged gut.

How often do you hear doctors talk about chronic inflammation?

Yet it is at the root of most modern disease, or at least exacerbating it.

And it is not something you are aware of or can feel specifically - kind of like a silent killer.

You cannot lose excess weight or get healthy when you are chronically inflamed.

And all too often, people bargain on their exercise routines and relatively healthy diets, but they pay no mind to their sleep, wine intake or relationships.

You don't have to change everything at once, but making a small change in one area is a good place to start.

And oh ya that is 9 ways not 8! ðŸĪŠ

There is a lot of talk about many diseases or conditions that cover metabolic, gastrointestinal, mental, cardiovascular, neurodegenerative, respiratory, autoimmune, and more...

But seldom what the main cause is of everything falling under these conditions, or what makes it worse.

Healing your gut goes a long way to get this silent killer out the way..

If you aint got your brain health, you aint got nothing.

And yes, of course your gut is important for brain health.

Thank you to Dr Stacy Sims for keeping us up to date with the science, and especially as it pertains to women and women in perimenopause and menopause.

We are done of the bros preaching 'science' that only applies to men.

(This is from Dr Sims' newsletter. )

Gratitude 🙏

There is a lot I can bitch about in the health, diet and fitness industries, especailly when it comes to women.

People quickly must fall for what you say if you have lots of followers, and when studies and research are quoted.

What I cannot understand, is these people NEVER seem to say WHO the research was performed on.

For the longest time, women have been excluded from most research in the health fields.

Our bodies are just too complex (shame) - monthly fluctuations, pregnancy, peri menopause, menopause - Ooo nee, we cannot try and control for all that so we'd rather just use healthy 20 year old men and generalise the results to everyone else.

Seriously, I think not disclosing this is f*king unethical and potentially very harmful.

I also heard, some 12-13 years ago, about all the wonderful benefits of low carb and intermittend fasting, even if you exercise.

And here today, I sit with seemingly permanent damage to my HPA axis.

Because all the clever fu*ckers didn't know to tell you it was not appropriate for women.

We are now in 2026, and many people like especailly Dr. Stacy Sims have done lots of research and been on countless podcasts talking about s*x differences in health, diet and fitness.

How you have missed this if you work in these fields, I fail to understand.
