We really trust for a miracle to settle all the outstanding bills of Ellé's operation, that needed to be paid not later than end of December. We are very far from the target we set to do that.

UPDATE ON Ellé:

Hi everyone. At last an update😅 Sorry just a bit busy here. Lol. Last week went pretty well for Ellé. She could go to school for 1 day for an educational snake presentation. It was a big highlight for her as she could see her teacher and friends. They were all so happy to see her. She was so brave touching and holding the python. Playing ball with daddy, going for a walk to Spar with oupa, was just as exciting. She did have a bit of a breakdown last night, because she wants to walk, wants to play, also want to walk to ouma and oupa for a visit. She also wants to go to school like Lumé😔 Lumé wants to be at home like Ellé🙈🤣 So, it can be a bit of a challenge to keep their spirit up, but we are keeping our heads up and focusing on the little victories leading up to the end result🎊🥳🙏🏻✝️🌱 May you all have a super blessed week🤗🌱 Thanks so much for every one that made a contribution to this back a buddy campaign for Elle's medical expenses. We really appreciate it so much. Here is the link for those who still want to be part of her ongoing journey. Her next visit will be to her specialist on 2nd of November, when the will remove steel pins from her feet and replace the plaster. Luckily she will get anaesthesia, so it will be much less traumatic.

This weekend daddy decided we should all get out for a bit. So we went fishing real quick. By a dam nearby. So off we went wheels and all. Ellé really enjoyed it. She even had a bite,but unfortunately the fish took off 😔🙈 the other night highlight for her,nowadays is, every morning early before school starts, Lumé gets into Ellé's bed to spoil her with a cuddle. To make up for getting into mommy and daddy's bed. Part of our morning routine. Lol. Soon everything will be back to normal. What her feet is concerned, she did complain of sudden sharp, intense, pain in her left heel. A few times over the weekend. But besides that, everything is going well. We will have her follow-up appointment in about 2 and a half weeks. They will then remove the pins on top where they build up the bridge of her feet. Under anesthetics. It is less traumatic for her. It will be very quick. I believe. Then she will get a new set Plaster of paris. It will only get better from here. We appreciate you. Have a wonderful week 🤗🌱✝️🙏🏻

Elle is doing very well after her operation. She is faithfully doing her excercises. It is very challenging though, as she can't bend her legs for the duration of 4 weeks. She is still complaining of pain some times. Her first follow up appointment will be on 3 November, when she will have anaesthesia again and some screws will be removed from her feet. The plaster will be replaced and she will be able to bend her legs then, but still be in the wheelchair.

The page was opened to share Ellé, our beautiful granddaughter's progress and further treatment after her foot surgery with friends and family. We would like to keep everyone who supports this fundraising campaign informed. We are grateful that the operation was able to take place. The final medical bills are expected this week. The preliminary quotations amounted to about R50 000. We will be able to pass on the specific amounts shortly. We are grateful that our campaign covers about 10% of the costs so far. Thank you for dear friends and family who continue to contact us to contribute. We appreciate every rand that comes in. Thank you for making it possible for us to continue with her treatment.. Ellé is progressing well and she does her prescribed exercises three times a day.
