🌟 Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) 🌟

At Letitia Delport Practice, we are proud to provide Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) – comprehensive assessments designed to evaluate an individual’s ability to perform work-related tasks. Whether you are returning to work after an injury, involved in a compensation claim, or need occupational readiness documentation, FCEs are key to informed decision-making.

🔍 What is an FCE?
An FCE is a standardized, evidence-based assessment used to evaluate a person’s capacity to safely perform work-related tasks. It helps identify physical, cognitive or emotional limitations and functional ability – essential for:

✅ Determining fitness for work
✅ Supporting return-to-work planning
✅ Guiding rehabilitation goals
✅ Informing compensation or insurance decisions
✅ Providing medico-legal documentation

⚙️ What does the FCE involve?

☕📚 While it may look like we spent the whole weekend eating and drinking coffee… we promise we were also soaking up some serious knowledge! 😄

Our team recently attended an excellent INSTOPP course on practice management and we walked away with so many valuable insights to strengthen and grow our OT practice. It was a great opportunity to reflect, learn and connect with others in our field.

A big thank you to the presenters and organizers – and of course, the coffee and snacks did not hurt either! 👏💼
