It was such a joy to meet expectant parents, share in meaningful conversations, and connect over the beauty of Birth and the sacred work that happens within these walls.

Spaces like Genesis remind us that Birth can be calm, supported, and deeply empowering, where every Mother is seen, heard, and honoured.

On Saturday the 1st of November, I had the privilege of attending the Open Day at the Oxford Midwifery Unit, and it was truly heart-warming to witness a space created with such intention, gentleness, and respect for the Birthing journey. 🌸

From the moment you step inside, there is a sense of calm. Soft lighting, comforting interiors, and a team of compassionate Midwives create an environment where parents feel seen, heard, and deeply supported. It is a place where Birth is honored as a natural, powerful, and sacred experience, and where women are encouraged to trust their Bodies and their instincts.

I left feeling incredibly inspired by the warmth, the thoughtful design, and the unwavering commitment to personalized care.

Spaces like this remind us how profoundly environment shapes our experience of Birth, and how important it is for families to feel safe, empowered, and held as they welcome new life into the world.

Grateful to have spent the day in a place that carries so much heart and purpose. 🤍

🎀 The Sacred Space Within: The Uterus ..

There is a sacred space within every woman - Quiet, powerful, and deeply intelligent.

It is where life begins, where intuition whispers, and where the cycles of nature unfold through us.

The uterus is one of the most remarkable organs in the human Body.

During pregnancy, it can expand more than 500 times its original size — A true symbol of adaptability and strength.

After Birth, it gently and instinctively returns to its natural form, healing and restoring itself with quiet grace.

And even outside of pregnancy, it renews itself every month, mirroring the rhythm of the moon and the continuous flow of creation and release that governs so much of life.

It is easy to move through our days without pausing to acknowledge how extraordinary this is — How much our Bodies carry, hold, and transform.

This sacred space within us is not only a vessel for life but a centre of connection.. To self, to ancestry, and to the natural world.

Take a moment today to slow down and breathe deeply.
