She worked in the corporate sector for many years as well as assisting in various fields of divorce care and children’s support groups through divorce. She is an accredited mediator. She is one of the directors of Family Assist. Walking her own journey within the legal environment and being witness to the litigious process of divorce, costs and emotional trauma to all parties including the children, she came to realize that there is an alternative way to deal with divorce. Mediation is positive approach to divorce, with the focus on problem solving and establishing effective communication between the parties. It is possible to resolve disputes by mediation in a way that reduce the risk of damaging personal relationships and acting in the best interest of the children


Marici has a passion for Family law and is focused on the best interest of the child. She believes that mediation is a cost effective way to resolve disputes, including complex and high conflict disputes. The intervention of an independent and skillful mediator can unlock disputes that have become entrenched with dome time. The parties is more likely to resolve a dispute in a way that the courts simply could not. This is one of the great advantages of mediation and has been recognizes as such by the courts.
