Stress is not just emotional. It is a neurological response.
When your nervous system detects threat (physical, emotional or chemical), it activates a protective response known as fight-or-flight. This response increases muscle tension, changes breathing patterns, elevates stress hormones and prepares your body to act.
When stress is repeated or prolonged, the body adapts. Muscles that were meant to contract temporarily don’t fully switch off. Protective patterns become baseline patterns.
Body Stress Release works by stimulating the body to recognise and release these protective tension patterns, allowing the nervous system to reset and restore balance.
