Starting solids is an exciting milestone! Begin with soft, smooth foods like thick porridge, mashed pumpkin or sweet potatoes— not too runny, so your baby gets enough nutrients.

If your child coughs after every meal, spills most of their food or vomits often when they eat, please take your baby to the clinic to get them assesed by a speech therapist or doctor. 💙

As your baby grows, slowly introduce more texture, like soft lumps and finely chopped foods. This helps them learn to chew and swallow 🌱

🍗 Remember: the nutrients are in the meat, not just the broth — make sure it’s soft and cut into small pieces.

🫂 Feeding time is also bonding time. Sit with your baby, be patient, and encourage them gently — never force feed 💕
