The Parks Psychology Practice

The Parks Psychology Practice I am a Clinical Psychologist in private practice and offer supportive short-term and long-term psychotherapy that is psychodynamically-informed.

I provide a safe and empathetic space for adults, adolescents, and couples to explore their difficulties. I provide a safe and empathetic space for adults, adolescents, and couples to explore their difficulties and desire for self-development. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy and endeavour to facilitate a process that uncovers the conscious and unconscious motivations and defense mechanisms that maintain a client’s struggles and unhealthy relational patterns. Developing self-awareness and self-actualization is an ongoing and difficult process. I aim to help clients get in touch with their authentic selves by exploring and understanding their feelings and inner world so that they can work through their difficulties, trauma, and loss and develop a stronger sense of self. Some of my areas of interest include anxiety and stress, workplace difficulties and burn-out, depression and self-harm, trauma and stressor-related disorders, bipolar and related disorders, personality disorders, schizophrenia and psychotic disorders, substance and addictive disorders, relationship and adjustment problems, bereavement, and couples therapy.

A successful, heart-opening mini-retreat in the city. What a beautiful day to honour the motherhood that lives within us all.

A sacred sisterhood was gently woven as our guests opened a gift of words, hand-written by the Sukoyaka team, each one a quiet blessing, an invitation inward. From there, we flowed into a soft, soulful yoga session that anchored us in our bodies and breath, followed by artful candle-making, where creativity met intention.

Each person shaped their candle as a symbol of the light they hold within. soft, strong, and sacred. We feasted on delicious food, including our signature summer fruit skewers with mint and lemon honey drizzle (yes, they were as dreamy as they sound).

We are so grateful to have shared and honoured this space together. It was truly a day of presence, connection, and gentle magic. We loved every moment.

Thank you for being part of this. We can’t wait to create more memories with you.

With love,
The Sukoyaka Team
