This morning’s class focused on the Root Chakra, which in practical terms relates to balance, stability, posture and feeling physically grounded 🌍
The class included slow, accessible movements, gentle strengthening, stretching and breathing to support the lower body, spine and nervous system 🧘♀️
Practices like this are helpful for improving mobility, reducing stress, supporting circulation and encouraging the body to move out of “fight or flight” and into a calmer state 🍃
Everything was done at an individual pace, with no pressure and no flexibility requirements.
Yoga isn’t about being bendy or spiritual — it’s simply a way of keeping the body moving, the breath steady and the nervous system supported 🤍
