After the passing of her husband, founder Mandisa Penelope Sobantu found herself at a crossroads. With limited resources and a heavy heart, she began thrift-shopping and repurposing old jewelry pieces for special events. What started as a way to cope became a creative calling. Bead by bead, her grief transformed into something exquisite — not just wearable art, but a symbol of resilience, reinvention, and self-love.

Each Kintsugi Beadworx piece carries that spirit: rooted in mindfulness, crafted with care, and designed to empower. During the stillness of COVID-19, what began as quiet therapy blossomed into a thriving business — a testimony that from the most broken places, new life can bloom.
