I used to think fasted workouts would burn fat faster... but the reality hit hard. When you're trying to build muscle and strength, working out without any fuel in your system is one of the biggest mistakes you can make. Here's what I experienced:⬇️⬇️⬇️
✅. Low Energy - Every rep felt heavier. I had less strength, slower recovery, and no drive to push hard
✅Lightheaded & Dizzy - Halfway through workouts l'd start shaking, lose focus, and feel weak. Not a good feeling.
✅ Lost Muscle Instead of Fat - Without food, my body started breaking down muscle for fuel instead of fat.
✅. Weak Lifts = Slow Progress - No fuel = no power. My progress stalled because I wasn't able to train at full intensity.
✅ Intense Hunger Later - I'd end up binge eating after workouts because my body was starving, which hurt my fat loss goals even more.Bottom line:
If your goal is to build muscle or lose fat efficiently, skipping food before your workout can hold you back. Even a small pre-workout meal can make a huge difference in energy, performance, and recovery.
