The prosthetic socket is the most important component of a prosthetic device.

It needs to be a good, comfortable fit to achieve a functional prosthesis unique to the requirements of each patient. The goal of any custom manufactured prosthetic socket is to ensure that the patient is comfortable, stable and in control of their prosthetic device.

Each prosthetic device user is unique. Therefor, each prosthetic socket is customized to achieve the most effective, efficient foundation for every prosthesis, whether it is an above or below knee device, for maximised independent movement following lower limb amputation.

Meet our new Men’s 100m T63 WORLD CHAMPION; Puseletso Mabote!!

Starting his New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships campaign with a new African Record and 4th place in the long jump, he went on to win his 100m heat in a Championship Record time of 12.06s and followed that by winning the final with an even better mark of 12.03s for GOLD!!

Congratulations, Puseletso!! We are super proud of you!!
