How to bounce back after overeating (without guilt) 🤍
1️⃣ First, let's be clear...
Overeating does not make you weak.
It does not ruin your progress.
It makes you human.
Guilt only keeps you stuck longer.
2️⃣ What NOT to do…
After overeating, DO NOT:
❌ Skip meals
❌ "Punish" yourself with extra cardio
❌ Restrict the next day
That's how binge-restrict cycles start.
3️⃣ What to do INSTEAD…
Return to your normal routine:
✅ Eat balanced meals
✅ Prioritise protein
✅ Drink water
✅ Move your body gently
No damage control needed.
4️⃣ One meal doesn't define you…
Fat loss is built over months + years, not one meal or one day.
Progress comes from what you do most of the time!
5️⃣ Learn, don't judge…
Ask yourself (without blame):
🤍Was I too hungry?
🤍Too restrictive?
🤍Too stressed or emotional?
Awareness leads to change.
Shame does not.
You don't need guilt!
You need compassion, consistency + better systems!
