I often get asked what can I do to improve my posture? The reality is that most of us are seated behind a computer screen for the bulk of the day, and this often impacts on our posture because you are spending a great portion of your day hunched over in front of the screen. In today's video, I show you how to do a few exercises that will help you open up those shoulders and how to strengthen your postural muscles or sitting muscles. Aim to do these 2 to 3 times a week, and in time you should start seeing an improvement in those postural muscles.

Who doesn't love a good stretch routine?
For today's I would like to take you through a full-body stretch routine. This will take about 5 minutes, and we will systematically stretch the entire body out.
Some benefits of regular stretch routines include:

✔️Stretching can improve posture - Tight muscles can cause poor posture.
✔️Stretching can improve range of motion
✔️Stretching can decrease back pain
✔️Stretching can help prevent injury
✔️Stretching can decrease muscle soreness.

If you know me, you will know that I love a little competition! So, this week for , I challenge you to do a daily planking set for the next two to four weeks.

Start with a 20 to 30-second plank, in each of the three positions shown in this video. Let's aim to gradually increase your time by 20 to 30 seconds per plank every day. This will increase your strength on a consistent basis. If you would like to take me up on the challenge, please watch this video, where I show you the three basic plank positions (as well as some donts) I have also included some variations to the planking set that you can bring into the challenge, because no one likes to do the same thing over and over ;)

Today I am looking at roll down exercises to help you strengthen your core. Roll down exercises are good for people who struggle with lower back pain. This is due to the fact that lower back exercises are almost always caused by tight muscles, which prevent the lower back from moving properly. The roll downs will help stretch out those muscles and bring about normal movement in the spine. This video takes you through the stretches that can be done during pregnancy. More often than not, and quicker than you think, your pregnant belly will not allow you to do your normal stretches. Stretching during pregnancy is important as your muscles will get stiff due to the increased movement of the ligaments. This can bring about that "stiff" feeling in your whole body while pregnant.
