Today is the first day of school for 2024 and parents and children can feel anxious about it. Make time for light conversations about your child's day, fears, achievements, worries, friends etc. Don't judge or preach when your child talks to you about things happening at school that makes you uncomfortable. Try to create a space where your child feels safe to share everything. Your reaction to what he/she says will determine if they share something again.

Good luck to all the parents and children for the new school year!
