Today, I mentioned to my mother that certain individuals tend to initiate conversations with complaints about their busy schedules, the weather, or feeling overwhelmed. This led me to reflect on how our language can set the tone for the day and define us. I am considering sharing my time management course with a few acquaintances. Lately, I've come to realize that I no longer have the capacity for negative people. Many years ago, during a management weekend at Ster Kinekor, a psychologist emphasized the importance of coping with stress. This lesson has stayed with me. It's essential to recognize our habitual conversation patterns and make conscious choices. Some of my friends, such as Anneke Du Plooy and Marquerite Brophy, exemplify a balanced and productive approach to life. My advice is to laugh and persevere.
