Today, the FIRE team bids farewell to Prof Gerda Reitsma.

Gerda-Marie Scott, over the past 5 years you have been an integral part of the FIRE family. First as a participant, then as a volunteer, then as an Alongsider – and over the last few years, a pillar who brought the FIRE Circle to life and managed it. Without you, the FIRE180 program would never have seen the light of day.

One could not ask for a more loyal friend and colleague. Your dedication helped FIRE for Life grow from a dream into a movement that empowers people to become healthy and stay healthy.
