Beyond welcoming a new season, September serves as National Albinism Awareness Month.

The information provided below aims to enhance public understanding.
Internationally, Albinism Awareness Day is observed on June 13, whereas South Africa recognizes National Albinism Awareness throughout September. These campaigns strive to raise awareness about albinism

Alongside South Africa’s 30 years of democracy, the Casual Day fundraising project for persons with disabilities celebrates our own 30 years milestone, continuing proudly as a visible beacon of inclusivity, resilience, and compassion.

With this year's Casual Day theme being "I SEE YOU" our lovely Founder and director Katlego Mkhonza has seen it fit to honor a few of Kwa-Thema's icons just for us to say thank you, we see you, we acknowledge the wonderful things you have done for our community. By having a movie night (by our very own) followed by a mini prize giving ceremony.
