This festive season, my heart is full.
Opening my practice was a leap of faithโ€”one rooted in purpose, prayer, and trusting Godโ€™s leading.

As I reflect on this year, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for every client, every word of encouragement, and every bit of support. What began as a step of obedience has grown into a space of healing, growth, and community.

๐Ÿ‘ต๐Ÿ’ช At 80 years old, most people are told to "take it easy." Elsa Dahl picked up a barbell instead.

In 2015, at the age of 80, Elsa Dahl walked onto the platform at the Pan American Masters and successfully Clean & Je**ed 26kg (57.3 lbs).

For a 20-year-old, that weight might be a warm-up.

But for an octogenarian? Itโ€™s a medical marvel. ๐Ÿฅ๐Ÿšซ

Elsa didnโ€™t spend her whole life in a weight room. In fact, she didnโ€™t even start serious Olympic-style lifting until she was 65 years old!

She spent her younger years in track and field but realized she needed more power to stay competitive.

So, she sought out a coach and started learning the most technical lifts in sports: the Sn**ch and the Clean & Jerk.

Critics (and concerned family members) often worry that heavy lifting is "dangerous" for seniors. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ

Elsa proves the opposite is true.

Science backs her up: heavy resistance training is the single best way to combat osteopenia and sarcopenia (muscle loss) as we age. ๐Ÿฆด๐Ÿ“ˆ

By loading her skeleton, Elsa wasn't just breaking records; she was bulletproofing her body against falls and fractures.

Her 2015 record in the W80+ category stood as a testament to human potential.

She proves that you donโ€™t have to accept fragility as the price of aging.
