• To slow down and stop rushing through life. • To establish a morning routine which incorporates some form of green juice or powder and journaling⁣⁣
• I just joined for a 25 day challenge which means yoga or one of their incredible selection of classes daily⁣

Meet the team behind Explore Dream Discover Retreats!⁣🤩

Say hi to ⁣
Roelien is a creative writer, biohacker and nutritionist, as well as the founder + owner of WildCore. ⁣
WildCore was born from Roelien's desire to help individuals repair their relationship with Nature and their natural selves (their wildcores). She believes that primal elements can be powerful facilitators in self-alignment and authenticity, and that a deeper understanding of the wilderness can help mankind live more harmoniously on the planet. She enjoys yoga, hiking, wild camping, drinking wine and writing stories.⁣🌿🐾

What is your mission behind Explore Dream Discover Retreats?⁣
“It’s my passion to help women shave off layers of conditioning which don’t serve them. I’m constantly aiming for this in my own life and still learning how to be gentle, graceful and vulnerable in the process. How can we hold a safe space for ourselves in which to grow and love? I want to explore that! I also want to help women dissolve their beliefs that they are helpless and that they aren’t good enough. I dream of a world full of unashamed, unapologetic women who love to be themselves and who are also okay to laugh at their ‘blunders’.”⁣

What makes your retreats/workshops unique?⁣
“When everybody comes together on the first day of a retreat, they quickly realize that Nicola and I are just human and that we’re just trying to be the best version of ourselves while also stumbling along the way. The barrier melts then. We might be the hosts, but we aint perfect and perfect aint what we’re after. We’re after authenticity. We transform and heal just as much as our attendees do. They are our teachers! Our retreats aren’t unreachable, idyllic holidays/escapes exclusive to the elite – they are humble, ordinarily-extraordinary journeys of the soul, they are sisterhoods in the making. I like to say they are ‘precursors to authenticity’."⁣

What are your goals for October?⁣
• To stop mindlessly scrolling through Insta!⁣
• To learn how to free dive & build my own surfboard from driftwood!⁣
• To get up before 5am on most days so I can journal and reflect! ⁣
• Save up for my WSET wine exams! 🌸

THE LIBERATING JOURNEY BACK TO AUTHENTICITY.👣⁣
You’ve probably heard people say “Just be you” many times before. So just why do we find such a seemingly simple task so hard sometimes? ;(⁣
The Cambridge dictionary gives the following definition of authenticity:⁣
1. The quality of being real or true⁣.

But, still, how do we do that?🧐Let’s set off on the journey with these points: ⁣
1. We used the word ‘BACK’ because you ALREADY possess the authenticity you seek. You’ve simply forgotten and that’s okay. A big clue as to this ‘mystery’ is to think of your happiest childhood memories. Write them down. When were you your happiest back then?⁣
2. Know that there is NOTHING WRONG WITH YOU. Like we said, you already possess the answers to “Who Am I?” and “What’s the real me like?” or “How am I unique?” – it’s now simply about saying YES to the journey of remembering. ⁣
3. Believe that you are exactly where you are supposed to be right now. If you’re still not sure of who you are or what you want to be doing, understand that you’ll need to be patient. ⁣
4. Take a sheet of paper and draw two columns. In one column, write everything that makes you smile/excited. In the other column, write down anything that makes you feel tired/heavy. Is there any way you can let go of some of the tired/heavy stuff? ⁣
5. Write down your top 5 values. What do you value the most? Family, career success, financial freedom, wholesome living, volunteer work? ⁣
6. Stay away from comparison, not only is it the ‘biggest thief of joy’, but it also takes you further away from your core values.⁣
7. Notice when you stray from these values and how it often causes you to feel frustrations and even resentment towards others who may be expecting too much of you. How far are you willing to bend on your values for others before it gets too much? ⁣
8. Keep a diary and whenever an interesting thought or something which excites you pops up, write it down as something worthy to explore (that means make time for it and invest!)⁣
9. Me-time is a must. It’s the only way you can get to know yourself – by giving yourself time with yourself! Schedule it in, mark it as non-negotiable. ⁣
