We all know that being grateful is good for us (Reduces depression, Increases our energy,
Develops a strong immune system, Decreases blood pressure, increases sleep quality etc etc)...but my question is, how does one instill gratitude in young people?
Pondering this, as a mom. Thinking the answer lies in allowing some struggle, welcoming failure, creating opportunities for my children to miss things and long for things, encourage grit and determination to aim for experiences but not expect them.
Any other thoughts from parents out there?
I just don't think a gratitude journal "does it" for a young person.
