We had a wonderful morning starting off with a lovely Welcome and afterwards, immediately the programme was started off with an exciting and engerizing ice breaker from Karlin Davids ( Virgin Active SA Sanctuary).

Many informative topics were spoken from various guest speakers regarding the awareness and importance of Diabetes as a whole.

Topics and guest speakers were:
*Diabetes Statistics- Dorothy Williams
*Diabetes Emergencies- Dr Michelle Allen from Helderberg Hospital
*Diabetes &Nutrition- Marieke Reitz from Somerset Dieititians
*Diabetes & Skin- Cara Lippert/ Almarie Fourie from Almarie Podiatry & Nature
*Living with Diabetes- Cameron Hendricks Hendricks
*Diabetes &The Eye (video presentation)

*Diabetes & Well-being - Thobeka Mbokazi from TP Cares Social Services

Fabulous gifts and lucky draws from the sponsors on the day, were won throughout the day by the guests attended.

Donor/Sponsors were:
