With children who need clothes and food, to seniors who don’t have enough. Victorious Marathon & Fun Walk is coordinated by Victorious Attitudes (NPO), dedicated to promote and facilitate the character and Skills Development of Youth
through the support of sports and other extra - curricular activities. It utilizes 100% of the proceeds from the Marathon & Fun Walk to fund Education, donate food parcels and clothes among others to the needy. In addition, Victorious Marathon & Fun Walk will create substantial economic benefits to the surrounding communities of N’wamitwa (Tzaneen). The race is open to both serious runners and more casual participants who may be more interested in taking part. It is expected to attract +- 250 participants for both the Marathon & Fun Walk this year - 2017. Estimated spectators are expected to grow the crowd to 1000 on the race day morning because it will be hosted the same day with the Annual Soccer tournament which normally attracts more than 500 spectators at Joppie All Blacks FC. Additional activities this year include local music artists performing during the event in partnership with BGMP Records. It’ll be hosted by Victorious Attitudes in partnership with BGMP Media Group. It is also supported by local volunteers, N’wamitwa Tribal Authority, Headman Magomani, Headman Mavabaza and Musiphane Satelite Police. This event is a costly venture with Police support, First Aid kits, permit fees, athlete perks and other expenses. While the entry fees will settle some of the expenses, they will not settle all of the anticipated expenses. For the event to be successful and continue to grow, sponsorship is being sought from businesses and individuals. Our vision (Victorious Attitudes & BGMP Media Group) is to establish a sustainable community focused running event, encouraging athletes of all levels to lead healthy lifestyles and further their personal fitness through running. Victorious Marathon & Fun Walk will be held at Joppie Village on 26th DEC 2017. Exciting race day events will be 20km Marathon and 6km Fun Walk. You’re invited to be part of our 1st annual Victorious Marathon & Fun Walk as one of the valuable participants. Your participation will help strengthen our community’s healthy lifestyle living. This in turn will help to create a strong fundraising presence to help deliver on the complex needs of the disadvantaged children and adults within our communities.
