We're proud to announce the promotion of Aren Mabunda to Marketing & Events Coordinator.

Aren Mabunda began his career with Wisani Burial Society in July 2017 as a Freelancer. Demonstrating strong leadership skills, he was appointed as a Line Manager in 2018, and later promoted to Branch Manager of the Phalaborwa office in August 2018.
In April 2020, Aren advanced to the role of Area Manager, overseeing both the Phalaborwa and Giyani branches, ensuring efficient operations and staff performance.

Recognizing his strengths and passion, Aren was promoted in July 2025 to the position of Marketing and Events Coordinator, where he continues to thrive and contribute creatively to the growth and visibility of the organization.

We're excited to watch Aren continue to grow.

Congratulations!

We’re proud to announce the promotion of Alex Malapane to HQ Branch Manager! 🌟

Alex began his journey with Wisani Burial Society on 6 September 2019 as a part-time driver, where he also provided valuable assistance as a financial collector at pay points and supported operations at the granite factory.

Due to his dedication and work ethic, Alex was appointed as a permanent employee on 10 January 2022, taking on the role of an Admin Clerk at the Phalaborwa office.

Alex was promoted and transferred to the NLA branch and now Tzaneen branch (HQ) , where he currently serves as the Branch Manager, continuing to demonstrate leadership and commitment to service excellence.
