Not all ear infections are the same — and knowing the difference can help you get the right treatment faster. 👂🦠
🔹 Otitis Media (Middle Ear) – Often follows a cold or flu.
Symptoms: ear pain, fever, muffled hearing.
🔹 Otitis Externa (Swimmer’s Ear) – Caused by trapped moisture.
Symptoms: itchiness, redness, pain when touching the ear.
🔹 Chronic Ear Infections – Persistent or repeated infections that can lead to hearing loss if untreated.
💡 Tip: If ear pain, discharge, or hearing changes last more than 1–2 days, see a hearing specialist or doctor immediately.
Healthy ears = clearer hearing. 💛
