Why Encapsulate?

As a Delivery System

Capsule technology has advanced to become more than just a container for medicine, supplements, and vitamins. Capsules offer a variety of solutions to managing dosages, the storage or products and maximizing the efficacy of an API with specifically targeted absorption areas and times.

A few examples of this technology include:
- Delayed Release Capsules - Designed to disintegrate within the small intestine to maximize absorption, and deliver API more efficiently
- Capsules within Capsules (cap in a cap / micro beading capsules) – multi-delivery system with 1 dosage (or deliver 2 dosages at different stages when combined with Delayed Release Capsules to give an immediate and lasting effect)
- Vegetarian / Plant Capsules – With a very low moisture content, these capsules offer optimal stability for hygroscopic material contents
- Sprinkle Caps – Designed to give an exact dosage by being split and sprinkled over food for children under 5.

Production

Production has been significantly simplified through the use of capsule technology. Removing the need for additional lengthy and complex processes in a product’s formulation, this in turn creates ease of production scalability, saves time as well as significantly reduces wastage.

are widely used within and medicines as a delivery system that offers significant advantages for topical solutions. However, aerosols are also used within the food, cosmetics, agriculture, and pest control industries.

Film-Forming Aerosol Sprays are a superior alternative to creams, patches, and liquid sprays, especially for drugs/liquid solutions that are difficult to stabilize and often can crystalize in storage. Applying patches, creams and liquid sprays by hand can cause cross infection and tend catch on or get absorbed by clothing and can leave nasty residues. These applications can also be associated with hypersensitivity, irritation, and blistering.
