Shukr Alhamdulillah.
Through the blessings of the Almighty and the generosity of our community, R216000.00 was raised for the PEPH Cataract Surgery Project at the Bayradiology Golf Day held on 1 November 2025.

The IMA Port Elizabeth branch attended the cheque handover at the Bayradiology Head Office at Medi Trust, together with representatives from all partnering organisations.
In attendance were
Dr Zaheer Gani - Radiologist at Bayradiology and IMA PE representative
Zaheera Paruk - Optometrist and IMA PE representative
Dr Etienne Rabe - Managing Partner at Bayradiology
Dr Mbambisa - Academic Head of Ophthalmology at PEPH
Dinesree Ellie - Standard Bank representative

Every contribution goes directly towards restoring sight and dignity to patients who have been waiting due to the overwhelming cataract backlog at PEPH.

May this initiative continue to bring light into the lives of those who need it most.
A heartfelt thank you to Bayradiology, our donors, and everyone who continues to support this ongoing project.
