Imagine having a job where you feel like you have to pinch yourself every day to check if this magic is a dream or reality!?!
Nothing excites me more than seeing the light in my patients' eyes and the spring in their step when we can see their progress and how the water works its magic!
Natasha, it has been so inspiring working with you. Your discipline and determination have produced incredible results and I'm excited to see what lies ahead for you on your journey.

So what did the boxers think about the workout???.
There were some who found it easy (although their facial expressions during the class didn't echo that sentiment....) and others that found it tough. Although we have therapeutic objectives behind the training, the main objectives are actually ENJOYMENT and feeling FABULOUS!

This aquatic programme is run by Stacey Aires and her incredible team of volunteers. These young boxers have been gifted with a free 12 week training programme (2 sessions a week). We know the boxers feel blessed to be a part of it....but really, it's Stacey and her team that are blessed to be a part of this magic. Thanks boxers from The Undisputed Boxing Academy.....you inspire us!!

I am in the process of completing the data collection phase of my Masters in Physiotherapy. Literature searching has highlighted that much of the evidence for aquatic therapy is of a low to moderate level of evidence. Studies on aquatic exercise present with higher levels of evidence. I'm acutely aware of the need for more evidence-based treatment and I'm trying to incorporate this into my clinical practice in real time.

Check out my latest purchase.....a punch tracker. I will utilise the punch tracker to determine the impact that aquatic exercise has on boxing punch velocity.
