We are based in Gauteng with a branch in Port Elizabeth and a current growing footprint within South Africa. The Home Carer Foundation was formed out of a lack for alternative health care solutions besides Old Age Homes, Retirement Villages and Hospitals or Institutional Care. The Home Carer Foundation gives back a person’s independence, dignity and worth when they spend their end of life time in the comfort of their own home.
The Home Carer Foundation provides uncompromising commitment to professional reliability and high quality of care supported by our carefully chosen qualified staff that have years of experience and knowledge. The Home Carer Foundation option is an affordable alternative besides hospitalisation or institutional care available for people who would like to retain or regain their independence and feeling of contentment in the comfort of their own homes.

The Home Carer Foundation monitors our services to you continuously through daily report sheets completed by your home carer and communicated to you and to our Home carer co-ordinator. Should the service require adjustments by you or your referring specialist or Doctor, these processes will be changed accordingly on your care plan.
We anticipate being of service to you and will answer any questions you may have or find the solutions to the challenges you may be experiencing.

Every Family has different needs and living circumstances and we are committed to customising our home caring service to suite your requirements. We place you and your family at the core of our Home Carer Foundation and want you to feel confident that your health care and comfort is of utmost importance to us.
As founder of the Home Carer Foundation, my Father having passed on in 2020 from Kidney failure and his refusal to continue to go for dialyses and to hospital, he wanted to spend his last days at home. My Mother in remission from Cancer over many years also eventually refused to go to hospital or be placed in any rehabilitation center and she only had a desire to spend her last days in the comfort of her own home.
Unfortunately I live in Johannesburg away from my family in Port Elizabeth and understand what it involves and how challenging it can be to have no support. My one Sister has a high end Job that requires her attention 7H00 AM to 17H00 PM and my other Sister runs the family business with little time to care for my mother on a 24/7 basis. This put us in a predicament and home caring became our only option. Arrangements had to be made for 24/7 care at her home, my Mother continued her daily living in her home where she had proper care and companionship for her well-being and she felt content and at ease.
In honour of my Mother who sadly passed away on 16 May 2022, I decided that I would like to contribute to the families that may be in the same overwhelming circumstances and require home caring assistance. Experiencing difficult times like these is very challenging and heart breaking and having a supportive and understanding network provides reassurance and takes away the feeling of being alone and not knowing how to deal with such emotional and sensitive situations. The Home Carer Foundation places emphasis on providing personalised home care and provides an affordable option for your loved one.
