Menstruation myth one is that – A MENSTRUATING WOMAN IS IMPURE, DIRTY, SICK OR EVEN CURSED.

FACT
None of these beliefs are correct. This is menstruation myth one

Periods are natural and normal for women.

Menstrual fluid is just a harmless mixture of blood and tissue that was not used by your body to nourish a baby in the Womb.

This myth is often used as a reason to stop women, who are having their periods, from taking part in various social events.

This happens especially in the case of religious events.

I understand why the ancients would have though this but today we know better and when you know better you do better! It is important for menstrual health that you keep yourself clean.

Always change your sanitary wear, whether it is multi use pads, washable pads, disposable pads or tampons, every four hours. Wash your body morning and evening.

The best way to get blood stains out of your clothes or panties is to use soap and COLD water. Rub the area stained with soap. Let it stand for about 30 minutes before washing.
