I graduated from The University of South Africa with my Bachelor's Degree in 2011. I then moved on to Post Graduate studies a year later, attending Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, where I completed my Honours degree (Cum Laude) in 2012 and my Master's Degree (Cum Laude) in 2014. Work Experience
I first volunteered my services as a psychologist in 2011 when I worked as a Registered Counsellor at Families South Africa (FAMSA). During this time I also volunteered at the local government hospital and at local schools through the Department of Education where I provided counselling. I have also worked at a Government School focussing mainly on working with children with Autism. I completed my Internship and Community Service through the Department of Health where I worked in several different settings and working with diverse populations. Hospital Practice
Over the years, I have worked as a Psychologist for hospitals in several region. These hospitals include George Hospital, Elizabeth Donkin Hospital, Dr George Mukhari Hospital and Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital. Community Mental Health Practice
Psychologists in small communities typically work at several locations. Over the years I have worked as a Psychologist with the regional mental health centres and other community-based mental health programs. I would often provide psychological evaluations, therapy, and training services. Court and Law Enforcement Services
I provide expert witness testimony with regard to forensic cases. Through the experience I have gained I have also provided forensic psychiatric patients with forensic assessments and reports with regard to forensic court cases. Private Practice
I began a solo practice in 2016. My activities include individual therapy, neuropsychological assessment, forensic psychological consultation, employee assistance services, psychological evaluation, and professional consultation. I see children and adults and specialize in the assessment and treatment of clinical psychopathological disorders such as bipolar mood disorder and schizophrenia, neuropsychological disorders such as traumatic brain injury and strokes, depression, anxiety disorders, emotional trauma, and relationship issues. I am proud to provide a broad array of high-quality care services. These services include:
Assessing, diagnosing, and intervening in clients dealing with life challenges,
particularly those with developmental and forms of psychological distress
and/or psychopathology; identifying psychopathology in psychiatric
disorders, and psychological conditions; identifying, and diagnosing
psychiatric disorders and psychological conditions; applying evidenced based
psychological interventions to people with psychological, and
psychiatric conditions; as well as referring clients to appropriate professionals for
further assessment or intervention. Providing expert evidence and/or opinions,
