Dr. Zine Steenkamp is a clinical and radiation oncologist practising in Pretoria, South Africa. She has always been passionate about oncology, a disease feared by so many but understood by few. Dr. Steenkamp strives to accompany patients and their families on their treatment journey with kindness, compassion, ethical and academic excellence.

Academically oriented, Dr. Steenkamp has a keen interest in holistic cancer care, advanced radiation techniques, and cardio-oncology. Her Master of Medicine research focused on the incidence of cardiotoxicity in breast cancer and highlighted the urgent need for effective early detection, monitoring, and combined cardio-oncology services in South Africa’s unique and resource-constrained setting.

On a personal level, Dr. Steenkamp enjoys activities and opportunities that keep her body healthy and her soul inspired.
