I absolutely loved my experience with my dentist Thalia Naidoo. She was understanding, caring and very professional! The added bonus was the soothing music in the background and being able to watch beautiful birds on a screen ❤️ As a paediatric Occupational Therapist, I also highly recommed Thalia and this Dental practice for children with additonal needs (sensory processing difficulties, ADHD and Autism) as they help to calm their bodies and mind during this grooming experience🫶 Thank you the Family Dental Practice in Durban North xx

OT for Kids' weighted products help our children feel grounded, safe and secure.

It provides deep pressure to the body and stimulates the proprioceptive sense, helping our children to relax, focus, and develop a greater awareness of their body. They can be incorporated into virtually every aspect of daily life.

Our weighted products also aid concentration, sleep, stress, anxiety and sensory processing difficulties.

The diffrent kinds of weighted products that are available are: blankets, jackets, lap pads/cushions, shoulder wraps, sensory comforters, stuffed animals, pillows and assorted fidgets.

I was fortunate enough to run a teacher's workshop this week for the Crawford Preparatory La Lucia Staff Members.

I loved connecting with them, providing further insight into Sensory Integration therapy and how best they can support their children in their classroom environments ❤️

It is wonderful to support and advise; as well as work closely with our teachers to help our children thrive!
