Hypertension, also known as high blood pressure, is when the pressure that blood places on blood vessels is higher than normal or necessary. Many people with high blood pressure don’t even know they have it. These could be warning signs.
Hypertension often goes unnoticed until it causes harm.
Symptoms that can indicate hypertension include but are not limited to:
▪ persistent dull headaches
▪ bloodshot eyes
▪ random nosebleeds
A diagnosis should always be made by a healthcare professional by monitoring your blood pressure regularly.
Know your numbers. Get your blood pressure checked and stay in control.

Did you know that wearing gloves does not necessarily protect you from germs?
Gloved hands pick up and distribute germs the same way as ungloved hands.

The appropriate way to wear gloves is to put them on directly before the task and remove them immediately after the task.

Be wise – be safe. Sanitise your hands regularly or wash them with warm soapy water.
