Follow the journey of baby Eli, who was born at just 26 weeks, and how his parents navigated this difficult period under the care of Life Healthcare. With a foundation of trust and a strong support system, this is the experience you can expect in our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).

This World Prematurity Day, we honour the dedicated neonatal team that plays an essential role in caring for our most vulnerable babies. Their specialised care provides comfort not only for the little ones but also for their families, ensuring that parents and caregivers feel informed and at ease. This life-changing journey is significant for both families and nurses; these are the moments that truly matter.

The local community of Paarl can look forward to a brand-new, state-of-the-art Life Paarl Valley Hospital, designed to deliver patient-centred care closer to home.

The sod turning ceremony took place last week, marking the start of this exciting journey. Key executives from Life Healthcare joined our partners Reakopana Healthcare, Fairwater and Giflo Property Developers – to celebrate this important milestone.

Set for completion in 2027, the new hospital will bring high-quality medical care and job opportunities to the Boland region, helping reduce travel time for patients in surrounding communities.

This is just one of the many ways we’re living our purpose of making life better and expanding access to quality healthcare for all South Africans.

A stroke is a medical emergency and should be treated urgently.
It occurs when the blood supply to a part of the brain is cut off. The brain requires oxygen and other nutrients, which are carried in the blood, to function normally.
A stroke, or cerebro-vascular accident (CVA), occurs when this supply of blood is interrupted and can result in death or severe disability if not diagnosed correctly or treated timeously.

At Life Hilton Private Hospital, we are here for you.

Every second counts; time is life.
