In April we welcome Daleen Loubser to the Family Support Hub. Daleen is an Occupational Therapist (OT) and we couldn't be happier to be adding this skillset to the Hanya House Wellness Collaboration. Here's a brief bio:

"Daleen Loubser is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with over a decade of experience in the field. She obtained her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy from the University of the Free State in 2014 and began her career in Mpumalanga, completing her community service and early years of practice at Sabie Hospital.

For the past five years, she has been serving at Themba Hospital, where she continues to make a meaningful impact. In 2017, Daleen earned her Master’s degree in Early Childhood Intervention from the University of Pretoria, further deepening her expertise in supporting young children. She is also certified in Prechtl's General Movement Assessment (GMA), equipping her with specialized skills to assess and support infants at risk of developmental challenges.

As a passionate generalist OT, Daleen thrives on helping individuals—especially children—reconnect with their meaningful occupations. She has a special interest in working with neonates, babies, toddlers, and young children, emphasizing the importance of early intervention. Her holistic approach ensures collaboration with families, parents and schools to achieve the best possible outcomes for each child."
