๐ PLEASE HELP US SHARE BENJAMINโS STORY ๐
My name is Ansie, and I am the single mother of a brave 10-year-old boy named Benjamin, my entire world. Benjamin was born with cerebral palsy, and every single day he faces challenges that most of us canโt even imagine. Yet he wakes up with a smile that softens every struggle we face. He is gentle, loving, and stronger than anyone I know.
For years, Benjamin attended physiotherapy and occupational therapy twice a month. These sessions were everything to him. They helped loosen his stiff muscles, improve his posture, strengthen his little body, and gave him the chance to gain just a bit more mobility and comfort. Every bit of progressโno matter how smallโwas a victory we celebrated with joy and hope.
๐ But in April this year, our lives changed completely.
Our only vehicle was written off in an accident. I had no insurance, and after the towing costs, I was left with nothingโno transport, no way to get Benjamin to therapy. Since then, he has missed months of crucial treatment. I can see how his body is getting tighter, how the progress he fought so hard for is slowly slipping away. And as a motherโฆ it breaks my heart.
Benjamin cannot use public transport. His wheelchair is too big, and at 47kg, I simply cannot carry him anymore. We are stuck at home, watching time take away opportunities that therapy used to give himโopportunities that meant comfort, strength, mobility, and a chance at a better future.
๐ Today, I am humbly asking for help.
Please help us raise funds for a reliable vehicle so I can get Benjamin back to therapy. Not for convenience. Not for luxury.
But for his health.
His comfort.
His dignity.
His future.
