Key outcomes include the adoption of the draft Terms of Reference and laying the foundation for ongoing, impactful engagements beyond today.

MEC for Health and Wellness, Faith Mazibuko is now meeting with the Gauteng Department of Health’s senior management from across business units and healthcare facilities, including Chief Executive Officers of District and Regional Hospitals across the province, at the Dr Clarence Mini Hall in Germiston.

The engagement forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the provincial healthcare system, improve patient outcomes, and enhance operational efficiency across public health facilities. The meeting also reinforces Gauteng’s continued commitment to delivering quality, accessible, and people-centred healthcare services for all residents of the province.

The initiative forms part of ongoing efforts to raise awareness about this preventable and curable disease that still claims thousands of lives every year.
