Sanpark Alcohol and Drug Centre is affiliated with SANCA (South African National Council for Alcohol and Drug Dependency). SANCA was established in 1961 and is a registered Not for Profit Organization whose major objectives are the prevention and treatment of substance abuse. (NPO Registration no: 002-004 NPO)
SANCA is a national organization consisting of 29 affiliated societies providing services from 86 service points in all 9 of the provinces of South Africa. Sanpark delivers specialized services for the prevention and treatment of alcohol and drug abuse, including:
-Satellite offices in both Vryburg and Postmasburg
-In-patient treatment for all types of addiction: substance abuse, smoking and gambling
-Newly functional In-patient treatment for adolescents in our Youth Centre in Klerksdorp
-Out-patient treatment at various points, including the premises of 12 schools in the North West Province
-Prevention Programs at schools for learners, teachers and parents
-Training and Lectures on request
-Marketing and Information Sessions through exhibitions, media, campaigns, etc.
-Support and Aftercare Groups in Klerksdorp, Mafikeng, Vryburg, Rustenburg, Lichtenburg and Potchefstroom
