Our whole life experience is dictated on the meaning we create through the identity we attach ourselves too. Its the reason two people can have the exact same life experience but feel a completely different emotional and mental reality.

Your brain is magnificent and its also a damn efficient piece of equipment. Its designed to make shortcuts based on what you repeat. It can even deepen an experience based on how often you repeat the anchored trigger.

So when you say I AM, this is MY, the brain codes that as your core identity and then codes everything else to make that meaning a reality.

The PRO? We can use this programming to create a better identity code and shift our behaviors and life experiences to create an entirely different meaning, which in turn allows us to experience a whole new reality.

ANXIETY CAN BE A PAINFUL EMOTIONAL ADDICTION, ESPECIALLY...

In a society that rewards hard work with more work. We're told to manage our stress but never given the time to do so and when we do appear calm, its assumed we dont have enough work...

NO. I used to have such bad anxiety that my neck used to spasm so bad that I could not move at all! I was contestantly on painkillers for migraines and had UTIs on the regular all because of my body being addicted to this state.

Why does this happen? Why and how do we get addicted to anxiety even when we hate the experience? Because the painful loop gives our brain a rush that triggers the same parts of our brain that gets high on drugs and feeds our emotional needs.

And secondly, anxiety is brain washed into us like a right of passage. Its like the badge of honor we earn that proves we're working hard but we all know the truth...

Its self mismanagement and a lack of boundaries connected to the fear that we are not enough.

The truth is that we're told we need to manage our stress and anxiety BUT if we do... we feel like the boss is going to think we dont have enough work, or we're not working hard enough.

I remember feeling so efficient when I started out in the workplace, but my efficiency was rewarded with more work for the same pay. Until I realized that the only way to protect myself from being used was to say, sorry I am too stressed or anxious to take on any more.

So, my anxiety became my protector, it didnt feel good, but at least I could stop people from making me do six people's jobs for one person's pay...

This is not an unfamiliar cycle and unfortunately it becomes an identity that we build. Our anxiety can become the comfort zone we create as a coping mechanism.

1. Are the people judging you anything like the person you're trying to become? If not, let them speak, they are no longer your tribe.

2. If the decisions you are making help you grow in health, wealth or relationships then you're on the right path. If they negatively impact them it's time to clarify your why.

3. If the person you are becoming makes you and the world a better place, then don't worry about what everyone else is saying about it, they are most likely feeling the pressure to step up or step out.
