The Witbank Society for the Aged is the ambarella body for the Edenpark Retirement Village (Edenpark Assisted Living, Edenpark Independent Living, Eden Palms Assisted Living, Eden Palms Frail Care, Oasis Senior Service Centre, and Oasis Health Clinic) and the Mthimkhulu Centre and housing for the Aged (Mthimkhulu Assisted Living and Mthimkhulu Senior Service Centre, and the Mthimkhulu Health Clinic). The preferred choice for older persons who seek affordable accommodation and total person-centred care towards quality of life. Objectives

The objectives are:

To provide safe, affordable accommodation;
To enable the aged to live independent, active and with honour;
To protect the older persons from abuse, neglect and exploitation;
To provide comfortable living;
To create a companionship within the peer group; and
To prevent or delay admission to other costly facilities
