Help vir Odysseus Ons samel geld in vir Odysseus se MRI scan en toetse. Hy het 'n beroerte gehad voor hy 1 jaar oud was. Hy is al 2 jaar oud en kan nie loop of praat nie

I am desperately seeking some help and I don’t know where to start. My son Odysseus is now a beautiful 2 year old boy, but he can’t walk or really talk yet as to the stroke he had when he was younger. We are busy with physio and occupational therapy to help him with his walking. In February 2015 this year we went back to see a doctor about Odysseus as he was still not walking or talking at the age

of almost 2 years old. She referred us to go for some extra test again. As we do not have the money to do so the tests have not been done yet. We tried using the State Hospital (Witbank Hospital) and this was not successful, we waited each time for 5 hours just to see the doctor, we were sent to do a CT scan and my son was given medicine to sleep for the scan, we waited about 4 hours at the CT scan just for someone to come and do the scan and the medicine that was given to Odysseus started to wear off and he started to wake up, the drip was in his hand where they did not properly put it in and the blood started pulling. My son cried so sadly that we just could not put him through that trauma again and we left the hospital without getting any help. I want to ask out of the deepest of my heart if you can maybe help us with a doctor that is willing to help us to do all the necessary tests that has to be done after a child had a stroke. As a mommy I am so scared for something to happen to my child again. I just want clarity on what is in store for us and for his future. Will he lead a normal life, will he start walking soon, will he start speaking soon? Odysseus is such a happy and wonderful child!

Dokter vir verwysing om toetse te doen - R600.00
MRI – R7100.00 (Dan weet ek nie wat betaal mens vir verdowing terwyl hulle die scan doen nie omdat hy nog so klein is)
EKG – R1200.00
EEG – R850.00
Bloed toetse – ± R6000.00 (R4534 + catch 22 toets?)

Totaal: ± R15750

Dit is sover die basiese toetse wat ek d**k gedoen moet word en dan weet ek nie waste toetse volg daarna nie.

Halo julle. Die doel van hierdie groep is om hulp te vra vir Odysseus. Hy het 'n beroerte gehad nog voordat hy 1 jaar oud was. Hy is tans 2 jaar oud en kan nog nie loop of praat nie. Die doktor het hom verwys vir nog toetse en 'n MRI scan. Sy ouers het ongelukkig nie 'n mediese fonds nie en kan nie bekostig om dit kontant te betaal nie. Ons wil vir hom geld in samel sodat hy vir die toetse kan gaan en sodat ons kan sien of hy permanente skade gaan lei en of hy sal reg kom. Vir die wat wel weet, 'n beroerte kan baie skade doen. D**k net aan wat daardie arme klein lyfie moet deur gaan... Hy kan nie vir hulle sê as hy seer het of as iets fout is nie. Soos julle op die fotos kan sien, hy is 'n pragtige seuntjie en hy glimlag altyd. Sy mamma is besig om te kyk of sy n aparte Bank rekening vir hom kan oop maak vir donasies en skenking om hom te help. Ons sal julle op hoogte hou met die reelings. Asook met Odysseus se vordering. Ons weet daar is nog goeie mense in hierdie wereld. As daar enige iemand is wat wil help kan julle ons gerus op hierdie blad kontak of julle kan die mamma direk kontak.
