We are glad to announce that the office of the public protector has taken a step into our 2020 Campaign Vision of incorporating Health Care Assistants also known as Health Caregivers.
This has been a campaign that has been on going to ensure health care assistants also know as Health Caregivers are incorporated in Zambia, our council is willing to work with other government line ministries to ensure this is a success in Zambia, the stepping in of the Public Protector will add a voice to the on going campaign and making sure the government understands the importance of this campaign.

Incorporating health caregivers can benefit the government in several ways:
1. Improved patient care: Health caregivers can provide personalized support and care to patients, improving health outcomes.
2. Reduced healthcare costs: By providing preventive care and support, health caregivers can help reduce hospitalizations and healthcare costs.
3. Increased access to healthcare: Health caregivers can reach remote or underserved communities, expanding access to healthcare services.
4. Enhanced community health: Health caregivers can promote health education, disease prevention, and community outreach, improving overall community health.
5. Support for healthcare professionals: Health caregivers can assist healthcare professionals with tasks, freeing them to focus on more complex care.
By incorporating health caregivers, the government can strengthen the healthcare system, improve patient care, and promote overall well-being.
