My first published poem in the Writers Space Africa - Zambia 2021. Today speaks through the rooted and rising youth conference summit and book launch.

ROOT, ROOTED

Swallowed so deep, underneath the earth,
Than the chanting screams of a,
Woman under spiritual influence,
By the so called anointed man, papa,
Who exclaims, go deeper papa, go deeper.

They are the reflection,
They are the cause,
They are the true mark,
Of the outcome of a plant.

How short ,
How tall,
How wide,
How thick,
How thin,
How easily shaken,
Is all a reflection of the activities done by the roots.

The great book of wisdom says be rooted in religion,
This is the same reason .

What you are,
Shows how deep, how vast you spread,
Like the roots follows the waters and ,
Nutrients for survival, so should you.

Follow through as we share faith in waves.

A meaningful moment presenting today on the connection between the Kübler-Ross grief model and Christian perspectives on navigating loss and change.

The framework by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross outlines five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. While widely used in psychology, these emotional journeys are also visible in many biblical narratives.

Biblical figures like Job and David openly expressed grief, questions and struggle, yet their stories demonstrate resilience, faith and hope through adversity.

The key reflection from the presentation: acknowledging our emotions is not a weakness of faith. In fact, honest reflection and spiritual grounding can coexist and support healing.

Thankful for the opportunity to contribute to the conversation and engage with others on faith, wellbeing and personal growth.

We called it the winners table.
It was nerve wrecking but as I continue to embody and live being a first born it was no shock that I had to open the floor, and made way for all the other winners.

I choose to be more confident and positive.
I remove all thoughts of negativity and negative people from my life.
I am peace, I am loving I attract greatness.
