The reason we do what we do

We had our mothers cooking day today ☺️
Today’s lesson was about hygiene.. we were discussing importance of hygiene and when to practice it.

We also discussed water borne diseases..like cholera and it's symptoms..like vomitting rice water and diarrhoea..and what causes death being dehydration from losing too much of the water in the body..
Also talked briefly about dysentry and bloody diarrhoea and typhoid.

we discussed the importance of having clean safe water to drink ( boiled or chlorinated) and keeping surrounding clean and covering food to prevent flies from sitting on it

For our cooking Demo we had mushed potatoes and carrots plus Rice and Groundnut Soup

We successfully had our discipleship Mango Tree outreach program for the children today. We thank God for this opportunity for is as a Clinic.

Extension of working days due to the community’s need.
We have decided to extend our working days to Saturday and Sunday from 08:00 to 14:30hrs. An answer to the community’s request

What a successful mothers cooking day we had today ☺️
We where taught the attachment process ( between mother and baby) also breastfeeding positions for mothers with twins and mothers with just one child
October being the breast cancer awareness month we where taught more about breast cancer and how we can detect it early through breast lamps and other measures 😍😍
Today we where also taught on the minerals and how they work in the body of a child
It was really a wonderful and educative day today

Cooking demo
We learned how to make sweet potato Custard and cassava leaves added with dry buga fish

Attendance: We had a total of 30 mothers and 64 children

Today was another opportunity for us to make HIM KNOWN and serve HIM through Mango Tree outreach for the children.

This is why we exist as a clinic.
